Who we are
SwissPer (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides AI-powered transcription and summarization services for Swiss-German dialects. If you are located in Switzerland, the EEA, or the UK, SwissPer is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with our website and services.

What we collect
- Account data: name, email, password hash, organization.
- Usage & device data: IP address, browser/device info, cookies, analytics events, crash logs.
- Content you provide: audio files/streams, transcripts, summaries, prompts, and related metadata.
- Billing data: credit purchases, invoices, and limited payment metadata (handled by our payment processor).
How we use data
- To provide, operate, and improve the service (transcription, summarization, quality, reliability).
- To manage accounts, credits, billing, and support.
- To secure our services and prevent abuse/fraud.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce terms.
- With your consent, to send product updates or marketing (you can opt out).
External processing & subprocessors
To deliver our services, your data may be sent to external providers for processing (e.g., cloud hosting, speech-to-text/LLM providers, storage, analytics, email, payments). We use data processing agreements (DPAs) and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or recognized transfer mechanisms to protect personal data transferred outside Switzerland/EEA/UK.

- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): service security, analytics, product improvement.

Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion at any time (subject to legal/contractual requirements).
Your rights

Children
Our services are not directed to children under 16 (or as defined by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
